Ardmore Fence Pros › Service areas › Wilson
Ardmore Fence Pros is where Wilson property owners request fence quotes. Describe the project and a local fence contractor will call you back. Wilson is in southwestern Carter County, about seventeen miles west of Ardmore, with US 70 passing along the north side of town. It began in 1913 as a stop on John Ringling's railroad west from Ardmore and was named for a Ringling Brothers Circus manager.
What gets fenced here
Most requests around Wilson are rural: new barbed wire around cattle pasture, woven wire for goats and sheep, and repair after storms bring down limbs or wash out water gaps. In town, backyard privacy and chain link fence are the usual jobs.
Because Wilson is a drive from Ardmore, combining several projects into one visit can make scheduling easier.
Before you build
Addresses in town follow city rules; the surrounding land falls to Carter County. Check with the city or county about any permit, call OKIE811 before digging, and confirm property lines on older tracts where fences may not sit on the true line.
